State Fair Community College (SFCC) Soccer Head Coach Jaime Beltran has announced his roster for the 2021 campaign. Coach Beltran is excited about the group of newcomers that he and his staff have assembled for the upcoming season.

The Roadrunners newcomers include, Austin Behee and Sebastian Rhoades of Camdenton, Leonardo Camatta, Daniel Feijo, Kenzo Fukugava of Brazil; Roberto Jauregui, Jahir Saucedo, Juan Veytia, and Abrahn Zubia of El Paso, Texas; Alejandro Cespedes of Bolivia; Lucas Martin, Juan Fernandez and Wesley Morrison of Sedalia; Juan Medina and Alejandro Paredes of Columbia; Andry Salazar of Naples, Florida; and Julius Tabe of Houston, Texas.

Returning from last year's team that finished with a 4-4-3 record and made an appearance in the Region 16 Tournament semifinal round are Zakariya Abdi, Antoine Kamengele, and John Mlondani of Houston, Texas; Marcos Adame and Francisco Zubia of El Paso, Texas; Malachi Cotter of England; Gaston Espinosa of Peru, Leonardo Fernandez, Wagner Nascimento, Vinicius Pie, Breno Prado, and Matheus de Navasquez Guedes of Brazil; Erick Murillo of Santa Teresa, New Mexico; Tebello Ntene of Lesotho; Nicolas Olmos and Francisco Rojas of Bolivia; and Abimael Rodriguez of Camdenton.

"We have three players for every position," said Beltran. "Depth and competition are one of the driving forces behind the success of the program. We were not able to have as much of that last season for various reasons. Competition will also be a strength of our team this year if our guys are competitive in the right way and use it to make them better."

The Roadrunners' season opens on the road on Saturday, Aug. 21 against Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa. The Roadrunners' home opener against Southeast Community College will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28. The entire 2021 schedule is available at www.sfccmoroadrunners.com.
