The State Fair Community College Roadrunners soccer team traveled to Marshall on Sunday, Sept. 11, to take on the Missouri Valley College Vikings junior varsity. Missouri Valley got on the scoreboard first with a goal.
SFCC responded with an unassisted goal in the 60th minute from freshman forward Mako Makoanyane. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Roadrunners (1-2-1) will return to Region 16 and Missouri Community College Athletic Conference play when they travel to Jefferson College on Wednesday, Sept. 14. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Hillsboro.
