Roadrunners Golf Recap Hail Ridge Invitational
The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners traveled to Boonville to participate in the Hail Ridge Invitational on Monday, April 5 hosted by Central Methodist University.
The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners traveled to Boonville to participate in the Hail Ridge Invitational on Monday, April 5 hosted by Central Methodist University. SFCC finished ninth as a team at the event which consisted of two rounds.
Sophomore Brandon Plummer of Tipton finished in 34th place with scores of 85 and 84 for a total score of 169. Freshman Kaden Killingsworth of Mt. Vernon finished tied for 36th with scores of 87 and 86 for a total of 173. Freshman Brett Hockett of Sedalia placed 46th shooting 97 and 97 for a total score of 194. Freshman Fischer Tharp of Rockport scored 116 and 100 for a total of 216.
"Our guys had a long, tough day that was physically demanding," said Roadrunners Golf Head Coach Wayne Ogle. "The golf course played tough with the windy conditions."
