The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners basketball team will have their final opportunity to scrimmage against another team before the regular season starts when they take on Missouri Valley College at Northwest High School on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
The event will feature a 24-minute game, along with multiple opportunities for fan interaction. It will give both teams opportunities to work on special situations before their seasons begin.
Fans in attendance will also have a chance to meet student-athletes and coaches from both institutions at the conclusion of the event.
All the proceeds from the scrimmage will help support the Northwest High School athletic program.
"We may work on some special situations during that event to go along with a scrimmage," said Roadrunners Head Coach Matt Brown. "It will be a good opportunity for the community to see what both SFCC and Missouri Valley have to offer."
