February 16 Missouri State University-West Plains

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners dropped a close Region 16 And Missouri Community College Athletic Conference game 105-99 on Wednesday night, February 16 in West Plains, Missouri.

The Roadrunners jumped out to 6-0 lead to open the game. West Plains fought back to take a 44-41 lead into halftime. The Grizzlies' defense held on in the second half and secured the important victory.

"We got ahead early in the game but, obviously you can't give up 100 points in a game," said Roadrunners Head Coach Matt Brown.

Five Roadrunners scored in double figures. Jamar Madge Jr. led the team in scoring with 22 points and a team-high six assists. Chad Kratzer Jr. scored 20 points. Cam Tweedy scored 14 points. February 19 Moberly Area Community College at Sedalia

SFCC (14-14, 2-10 in Region 16) lost a 95-69 Region 16 and Missouri Community College Athletic Conference game to the 24th ranked Moberly Area Community College Greyhounds inside the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on Saturday night, February 19.

Moberly led 18-10 with 12 minutes and 35 seconds remaining in the first half. The Greyhounds took a 48-31 lead into halftime. The game featured two lead changes and three ties.

Butler led the Roadrunners' offense with 19 points and a team-high seven rebounds. Butler made 14 of 16 free-throw attempts in the game. Caleb Mims, Kratzer, Butler, and Uros Gatic all tied for the team lead in assists with two. Will Wilson led the team in steals with two.

"You can't have 11 assists and 17 turnovers in the game," said Brown. "That has been a big Achilles' heel for us in the last couple of games. Give Moberly credit though, their pressure defense was good. They had 19 assists and 12 turnovers which is excellent."
