"We got to play 10 different players tonight," said Roadrunners Head Coach Matt Brown. "I thought we shot the ball well from the free-throw line, and we also shot pretty good from beyond the three-point line. We know they are a gritty team; we play them every year. It was a good win for us."

"We had a big win yesterday, and we didn't warm up very well," said Brown. "Rock Valley was ready to play, and we really weren't. We had to claw our way back into the game."

Freshman guard Elliott Sieger scored a difficult layup attempt with about two seconds remaining to give SFCC the lead. Rock Valley missed a last-second shot to give SFCC the victory.

"Rock Valley is a good team," said Brown. "It's different now that we have started to win some games. We used to be the team that was chasing everyone else, now, people really want to beat us. Elliott came in and made a big basket for us."
