The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners participated in a closed scrimmage against the University of Central Missouri Mules on Friday, Oct. 29. The scrimmage consisted of a regular 40-minute game, followed by another 10-minute period.

"It was a good opportunity to scrimmage against another team," said Roadrunners Head Coach Matt Brown. "We were able to play all 12 guys, which will help get us ready for the regular season which begins on Wednesday. There are some things that we still must get better at. It was a great opportunity for us."

The Roadrunners open the regular season, Nov. 3 against Missouri Baptist University inside the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
