SFCC to host Missouri/Iowa Challenge

Sedalia, Missouri – State Fair Community College will host the first ever Missouri/Iowa Challenge on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8 and 9, in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus. 

The schedule is the following:

Friday, November 8

Southeastern Iowa vs. West Plains at 2 p.m.
Marshalltown vs. Moberly at 4 p.m.
Indian Hills vs. Three Rivers at 6 p.m.
Iowa Western vs. SFCC at 8 p.m.

Saturday, November 9

Southeastern vs. Three Rivers at 1 p.m.
Marshalltown vs. West Plains at 3 p.m.
Iowa Western vs. Moberly at 5 p.m.
Indian Hills vs. SFCC at 7 p.m.

 

State Fair Community College will recognize active and retired military at the Roadrunners basketball game against Indian Hills Community College at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus.

All active and retired military with IDs and their families get free admission to the game as well as free popcorn and soda courtesy of the SFCC Booster Club.

This game is part of the new Iowa/Missouri Challenge series that SFCC is hosting this year. Eight teams are participating in the challenge: Southeastern Iowa, Missouri State University-West Plains, Marshalltown, Moberly, Indian Hills, Three Rivers, Iowa Western, and SFCC. The games begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, and 1 p.m. Saturday. Military personnel and families get free admission for all the games on Nov. 9.

Regular admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students 13-18. Children 12 and under and in-district residents 60 and older get in free. SFCC students and employees are admitted free with BLUECARDS. For more information, call (660) 530-5808 or visit sfccmoroadrunners.com.
