Feb. 25 – Moberly Area Community College at Sedalia
SEDALIA, Mo. – The State Fair Community College Roadrunners opened their home schedule with an 11-4 win over Moberly Area Community College on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
 
Sophomore outfielder/first baseman Dayne Wimberly of Platte City led SFCC with three hits, including a double and a home run, five RBIs, and two runs scored. Freshman outfielder/pitcher Collin Ross of Branson had two doubles, two RBIs, and a stolen base. Freshman third baseman/first baseman Andrew Hill of Columbia walked three times and scored three runs. Freshman middle infielder Peyton Cooper of West Plains drew two walks and scored twice. Freshman outfielder Devin Wassmann of Platte City also scored twice. Sophomore outfielder Caleb Briggs of Lee's Summit walked twice and scored a run. Sophomore outfielder Jordan Hedrick of Platte City stole a base and drove in a run.
 
SFCC recorded seven hits and drew 11 walks.
 
Freshman pitcher Josh Hagle of Knob Noster started on the mound, pitching 2 2/3 innings. He allowed two runs on three hits, struck out four, and walked three. The Roadrunners used seven relief pitchers. Sophomore Connor Rhorer (1-0) pitched two innings, struck out three, and earned the win.

Feb. 28 – Mineral Area College at Park Hills
PARK HILLS, Mo. – SFCC opened Region 16 play with two losses to Mineral Area College, falling 15-3 in six innings in game one and 15-4 in five innings in game two on Friday, Feb. 28.
 
In game one, Wassmann had two doubles and an RBI. Cooper recorded two hits and stole a base. Ross also drove in a run. SFCC finished with seven hits.
 
Sophomore pitcher Chase Schnieders of Jefferson City started, pitching four innings. He allowed four runs on eight hits, struck out five, and walked four. Schnieders (1-1) took the loss.
 
In game two, Wimberly and Ross each had two hits and an RBI. Cooper added a triple and a run scored. SFCC managed six hits.
 
Freshman pitcher Hunter Jones of Branson started, pitching 1 2/3 innings. He allowed 11 runs (seven earned) on eight hits and struck out two. Jones (0-1) took the loss.

March 1 – Mineral Area College at Park Hills
PARK HILLS, Mo. – SFCC (3-6, 0-4 Region 16) dropped two more games to Mineral Area College, 11-5 and 7-5, on Saturday, March 1.
 
In game one, Wassmann led the offense with a double, a home run, two runs scored, and an RBI. Briggs added two hits, two RBIs, and a run scored. SFCC finished with seven hits.
 
Freshman pitcher Jacob Tellman of Jefferson City started, pitching four innings. He allowed eight runs (three earned), struck out five, and walked two.
 
In game two, the Roadrunners managed just three hits. Cooper had a hit, two RBIs, and a run scored. Briggs added a hit and a run, while Hill contributed a hit and an RBI. Cooper, Wassmann, and Hedrick each stole a base.
 
Ross (0-1) started the series finale, pitching one inning. He allowed four runs on three hits and struck out one, taking the loss.
