Walton-Blanden Signs with Le Moyne College

State Fair Community College (SFCC) sophomore guard Kailleb Walton-Blanden of Rapid City, South Dakota has decided to continue his academic and athletic career at Le Moyne College, an NCAA Division II college in Syracuse, New York. Walton-Blanden will join former Roadrunner Tim Leavell. He becomes the seventh Roadrunners basketball player to continue his career from the 2019-2020 team.

"I think he will do well at Le Moyne," said Roadrunners Head Basketball Coach Matt Brown. "They recruited him to play either the point guard position or the shooting guard. He will definitely give them depth at both of those positions. He mostly played the point guard for us, but I think there he can play off the ball as well. I think that's why they really like him."

Walton-Blanden started 27 of 30 games for SFCC and helped the Roadrunners to a 16-14 record and an appearance in the Region 16 Tournament Semifinal Round.

Walton-Blanden finished second on the team in points per game, assists  and steals with 13.3, 3.2 and 1.3 respectively. He knocked down 71.9% of his free-throw attempts, which placed him fourth on the team.

Walton-Blanden scored a team-high 35 points, while helping the Roadrunners to a victory over Bryant & Stratton College of Wisconsin. The performance included knocking down 22 of his 28 free-throw attempts.

Walton-Blanden recorded a season-high eight assists against Three Rivers Community College.
