Eman and Nimaga Added to Basketball Roster

Eman Eman of Ottawa, Ontario and Mohamadou Nimaga of Bronx, New York joined the State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners basketball program in January. They both sat out the spring semester last season. However, both were able to practice with the team last semester due to NJCAA rules.

Eman is a 6'4'' guard/forward who played at John Polyani Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Ontario where he played for Head Coach Adeel Sahibzada. Eman averaged 16 points, six rebounds and four steals. Eman was also named the Canadian Defensive Player of the Year.

"Eman is the type of player who can play on the perimeter as a guard or also play at the forward position," said Roadrunners Basketball Head Coach Matt Brown. "He will really be able to get to the basket and is also a very good defender."

Nimaga is a 6'1'' guard who transferred from Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kansas. He averaged 13 points, four rebounds and three assists during his time at Pratt. Nimaga played his high school basketball at Wings Academy in Bronx, New York for Head Coach Billy Turnage. Nimaga averaged 11 points, nine assists and seven rebounds as a senior in high school.

"Mohamadou can play either guard position," said Brown. "He will provide us with speed and athleticism that will fit well into Region 16."
