Roadrunners Basketball Adds Baisey

State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners Basketball Head Coach Matt Brown has announced the addition of Naysean Baisey a 6'4'' guard who played his high school basketball at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Washington for Head Coach Mike Bethea.  Baisey is the first member of the Roadrunners 2020-2021 recruiting class.

As a senior, Baisey averaged nine points, four rebounds and four assists per game on a very good high school team.

"Naysean can pass the ball well," said Brown. "He can also score. Naysean has been around and played against guys at high levels."

He also played a year of prep school basketball last year at Scotland School in Scotland, Pennsylvania, where he was coached by Chris Chaney. Scotland was ranked number one in the country for a lot of the year before the Coronavirus ended their season.

He averaged 10 points per game during his prep school season. He also contributed five rebounds and five assists during his time in prep school.

"Naysean played against high level competition during his prep school season," said Brown. "A lot of the kids on his prep school team are going to play pretty high level Division I basketball. We feel pretty fortunate to be able to get him."

Baisey has signed his National Letter of Intent. He will begin his academic and athletic career at SFCC in the fall.
