State Fair Community College Head Men's Basketball Coach Matt Brown has announced the addition of two more players for the upcoming season. Michael Stone and DeAndre Speight, both 6'8", have signed National Letters of Intent.

Stone, a center from Brooklyn, New York, played last season at Chipola College in Marianna, Florida. He played in 20 games as a reserve averaging 1.3 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. He played basketball at Strong Vincent High School in Erie, Pennsylvania, for Shannon Pullium where he averaged 10 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior.

"Michael will provide a post presence," said Brown. "He can definitely rebound the basketball, and his experience will help the team."

Speight played basketball at East Side High School in Newark, New Jersey, for Co-Head Coaches Bryant Garvin and Anthony Tavares. He averaged a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds per game as a senior.

"DeAndre has length and athleticism," said Brown. "He played with and against high level competition throughout his high school career and adds rebounding and toughness to our team."
