Jan. 16 Moberly Area Community College at Moberly

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners traveled to Moberly, Missouri for an important Region 16 game against the Moberly Area Community College Lady Greyhounds. SFCC fell by a score of 76-59 on Wednesday, Jan. 16 .The game was also part of the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference schedule. The matchup featured seven lead changes and four ties.

SFCC (4-10, 0-2 in Region 16, 0-4 in MCCAC) led 35-33 at halftime. The Lady Greyhounds outscored SFCC by five points in the third quarter to take a 53-50 lead. Moberly put the game away in the final quarter outscoring the Lady Roadrunners 23-9.

Sophomore guard Monique Esbrand of London, England led her team in scoring with 16 points. Freshman guard Aniya Harris of Ellenwood, Georgia and sophomore guard Jazzmyn Elston of Rossville, Georgia added 12 points each. Freshman guard Jasmine Williams of Miami, Florida pulled down a team-high six rebounds. She also dished out a team-high six assists. Williams, sophomore guard Farah Mesidor of Kissimmee, Florida, and Elston all registered two steals each.
