Nov. 10 Wabash Valley College at Poplar Bluff

The Lady Roadrunners traveled to Poplar Bluff for the Three Rivers Community College Classeic Nov. 10-11. In the first game, SFCC fell 64-55 to the 14th-ranked Wabash Valley College Lady Warriors from Mount Carmel, Illinois.

"It was a good back-and-forth game," said Bucher. "With a minute left, it was a tied game. Wabash made a couple of three-point shots to help them in the game. It was a great game to play. We saw much improvement, but we had way too many turnovers down the stretch that cost us the game."

Sophomore guard Ren'Cia Rolling scored 16 points and dished out five assists. Brewer contributed 13 points. Freshman guard Jazzmyn Elston and Kaifes added 10 points apiece. Kaifes pulled down nine rebounds, and Morrow registered three blocked shots.

Nov. 11 Shawnee Community College at Poplar Bluff

Kaifes had 18 points, five rebounds and five assists. Morrow contributed 15 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots. Brewer pitched in with 15 points and eight rebounds. Hill added 11 points and five rebounds.

"Our team played hard all weekend," said Bucher. "They battled against Wabash. We just need to continue to improve and build for the second semester."

SFCC (3-2) returns to the Davis Center on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17-18, to host the Stone Laser Imaging Classic. SFCC will open against the Missouri Valley College Junior Varsity on Friday.
