Jacob Coleman is in his fifth year as the Esports Head Coach at State Fair Community College. Coleman helped his Call of Duty: Warzone team placed third nationally in Division 1 during the 2024-2025 season.
Coleman helped guide his Rainbow Six Siege team to the second NJCAAE National Championship in the history of the program in the spring of 2024. Overall, the program continues to build and improve each season. Coleman helped guide his Rainbow Six Siege team to an NJCAAE National Championship in the spring of 2023. Coleman led the program to an outstanding first season.
Coleman brings 14 years of experience in Esports that ranges from competing in events, hosting tournaments, and becoming a partnered Twitch.tv streamer.
Coleman has been trained in communication, leadership, game strategies, and optimization. Coleman has experience in the business world, as well as strong critical thinking skills and the ability to be innovative and detail oriented.
Coleman worked as a store manager at GameStop in Lumberton, North Carolina, from January 2011 to January 2013. He operated the top-performing store in growth every year, was a district manager in training, and the lead store manager in the district. Coleman hired, trained, and developed new talent and team members.
Coleman is active in Esports at all levels. Coleman is a proud member of the National Association of Esports Coaches and Directors. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the NJCAAE.
Coleman earned an associate degree in biology from State Fair Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Belleville University in Belleville, Nebraska in supply chain transportation and logistics management. Coleman earned his MBA from Central Methodist University.
