April 8 – Kansas City Kansas Community College at Kansas City, Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – State Fair Community College extended its winning streak to nine games with a 14-9 victory over Kansas City Kansas Community College in a nine-inning game Tuesday, April 8.
Freshman middle infielder Peyton Cooper of West Plains led the Roadrunners with three hits, including a home run, five RBIs and three runs. Sophomore outfielder Caleb Briggs of Lee's Summit added two hits, including a home run and a double, and drove in two while scoring three times. Sophomore outfielder/first baseman Dayne Wimberly of Platte City and sophomore outfielder Jordan Hedrick of Platte City each had two hits.
Freshman outfielder/pitcher Collin Ross of Branson tripled and drove in three runs. Sophomore middle infielder Sam Paule of Washington contributed two hits and scored twice. Sophomore catcher Matt Goldasich of Springfield, Illinois, and freshman infielder Connor Rice of Sedalia each scored two runs. SFCC tallied 13 hits overall.
Freshman pitcher Aiden Morarity of Holden started, going 2 2/3 innings and allowing six runs on four hits with three strikeouts and three walks. Sophomore pitcher Connor Rhorer of Pilot Grove (2-0) earned the win with 2 1/3 innings of relief, striking out two and walking two.

April 12 – Crowder College at Neosho
NEOSHO, Mo. – SFCC dropped both Region 16 games against Crowder College on Saturday, April 12, falling 16-1 in five innings and 7-6 in 12 innings.
In game one, SFCC was limited to five hits. Briggs collected two hits, while Cooper drove in the lone run and Paule scored the only run.
Freshman pitcher Jacob Tellman of Jefferson City (4-3) started and went 2 1/3 innings, allowing nine runs (six earned) on six hits with one strikeout and two walks.
In game two, freshman outfielder Devin Wassmann of Platte City had two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Ross had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs. Rice drove in two and Wimberly tripled and scored twice.
Freshman pitcher Hunter Jones of Branson started and pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits with seven strikeouts and four walks. Morarity took the loss in relief, allowing one run on one hit in the 12th.

April 13 – Crowder College at Sedalia
SEDALIA, Mo. – SFCC (24-15, 16-12 Region 16) dropped another pair of Region 16 games to Crowder College on Sunday, April 13, falling 15-13 in game one and 10-5 in game two.
In the opener, Cooper and Wimberly each had three hits, including a double, and scored twice. Briggs homered as part of a two-hit, four-RBI game. Wassmann added two hits and scored twice. Ross doubled among his two hits and drove in two. Paule and Rice each had two hits. Rice homered, drove in one, and scored three times. SFCC totaled 17 hits.
In the nightcap, Rice had three hits, including a triple and a home run, scored twice, and drove in two runs. Briggs, Wimberly and Wassmann each recorded two hits. Wassmann doubled, and freshman catcher Albert Salguera of Valencia, Venezuela, added a double, a home run and scored twice.
Sophomore pitcher Nate Bartlett of Lee's Summit (5-1) started and took the loss. He pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up five runs on 11 hits with six strikeouts and one walk.
