Roadrunners Add Rokusek

State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners Baseball Head Coach Jud Kindle has announced the addition of Rylie Rokusek to the Roadrunners 2019-2020 recruiting class. The Holden, Missouri native is a 6'3'' pitcher who plays his high school baseball at Holden High School for Head Coach David Riley.

Rokusek earned all-conference honors in baseball as a sophomore. He was named all-conference, all-district, and all-state as a junior. He was also named All-Johnson County for his work on the diamond. Rokusek is also a two-time All-Johnson County selection on the basketball court.

"Rylie is a very projectable pitcher," said Kindle. "He has a very loose arm action. I believe he will be a starter for us. He relies on his fastball, but he also has a pretty good off speed pitch and he has plenty of movement on his pitches. He is a great kid from a great program."

In high school, Rokusek earned the RISE award for his work in biology. He is undecided on a major at SFCC. Rokusek has signed his National Letter of Intent and will begin his academic and athletic career at SFCC in the fall.
