State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners Basketball Head Coach Matt Brown has announced the addition of Kohen Thompson. The Memphis, Tennessee native is the final member of the Roadrunners 2019 recruiting class. Thompson signed his National Letter of Intent and started classes this fall at SFCC.
Thompson is a 6'6'' guard/forward who spent last season at the Tennessee Preparatory Academy in Memphis, Tennessee. He played his high school basketball at Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis.
"Kohen shoots the ball really well," said Brown. "This year we will have more guys who can shoot the basketball, so we will really be able to stretch the floor. He has a good basketball IQ and is a good student. He also has a really good skill set and is an extremely good passer. I think he will fit into our team really well."
Coach Brown is excited about the recruiting class that he and Assistant Coach Adam Short have been able to assemble for the season.
"I think we will be a more skilled team this season," said Brown. "We will definitely be a better shooting team."
