State Fair Community College (SFCC) Softball Head Coach Lyndsey Talbot has announced the addition of Samantha Campbell to her 2019-2020 recruiting class. Campbell is a first baseman/designated player who played her high school softball at Clinton High School for Head Coach Jennie Jaynes. She has signed her National Letter of Intent and will begin her academic and athletic career at SFCC in the fall.
"Samantha hasn't been playing softball for too long," said Talbot. "She has a lot of natural power in her swing and I'm looking forward to seeing how she improves in her two years here at SFCC."
Campbell earned first-team all-conference and all-district as a sophomore. She also earned second team all-district as a junior and a senior at Clinton.
"We are excited to add Samantha to our roster for the upcoming season," said Talbot.
