Lady Roadrunners Sign Two More for 2019-2020

State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners Head Basketball Coach Kevin Bucher has announced the addition of two more student-athletes to join his 2019-2020 recruiting class. Ryann Haynes and Madison Lenz have signed their National Letters of Intent and will begin their academic and athletic careers at SFCC in the fall.

Haynes is a 5' 7'' guard from Florissant. She played her high school basketball at Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory High School for Head Coach Tony Condra. Haynes was a three year starter during her high school career at Cardinal Ritter. She served as a co-captain and earned First-Team All-Conference honors during the 2017-2018 season. She earned Second-Team All-Conference honors during the 2018-2019 season. As a senior, her team finished one game short of advancing to the Final Four. She averaged 10.9 points per game. She pulled down 1.3 rebounds and dished out 1.1 assists per game as a senior. She also registered 1.59 steals per game. She also holds the school record for most three-point shots made in a single season.

"Cardinal Ritter had an outstanding team Ryann's senior year," said Bucher. "I think their final record was 24-3. She played on a balanced team that played a similar style to what we are going to do. She is a very good three-point shooter and defender. We are very excited to have Ryann. She was one of the top players out of the St. Louis area and we are very fortunate to get her."

Haynes was on the honor roll all four years of her high school career and plans to major in nursing at SFCC.

Lenz is a 5'9'' guard who played her high school basketball at Boonville High School for Head Coach Jaryt Hunziker. Lenz is a three-year varsity letter winner at Boonville.

"Madison has come to a lot of our basketball camps," said Bucher. "She comes to a lot of our games. She wanted to come to school here and we wanted her to be a part of our program. She fits into our pressing and trapping style."

Lenz plans to major in dental hygiene at SFCC.
