Harris Announces Future Plans

State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners freshman guard Aniya Harris of Ellenwood, Georgia has decided to continue her academic and athletic career at Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama. Harris is the second Lady Roadrunner to announce her college transfer plans.

Harris averaged 3.4 points per game in a reserve role for SFCC. She played in 17 contests, starting one. She completed 38.2% of her field-goal attempts and 37.5% of her three-point opportunities. Harris scored a career-high 12 points against Moberly Area Community College on January 16 where she made five of her nine field-goal attempts.

"Aniya will have three years of eligibility remaining at Miles," said Lady Roadrunners Head Coach Kevin Bucher. "It was an opportunity that she could not pass up. I believe she has had some family play there before. I know she is excited about the opportunity and we want to wish her the very best."
