Lady Roadrunners sign Mesidor

Lady Roadrunners Basketball Head Coach Kevin Bucher has announced that Farah Mesidor, a transfer from Southeastern Illinois College, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend State Fair Community College. She will be a sophomore.

Mesidor, a 5'9'' guard, averaged 7.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game last season at Southeastern Illinois, a D-I National Junior College Athletic Association school. She played in 29 games, started in 12, shot almost 33 percent from beyond the three-point arc, and dished out 1.6 assists per game. In high school, Mesidor played at Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida.

"Farah can play multiple positions," said Bucher. "She is a good three-point shooter who attacks the glass. She fits in well with our pressing and trapping style and has experience at this level. We are excited to have Farah as part of our program."
